Chernomorneftegaz plans to build new refinery in the Crimea

Chernomorneftegaz has developed a plan for the development of the Kerch shelf area at a cost of $6.7 billion, the RIA Novosti reports.

The aim of the project is the development of fields, located on the Kerch shelf of the Black Sea; the construction of  processing and petrochemical plants, as well as the creation of transport, logistics and production center on the Tobechikskoe Lake.

The planned capacity of the refinery is 2 million tons per year. The oil refining depth should be more than 95%. The production of Euro-5 petrol could reach 676.2 thousand tons, diesel fuel - 794.4 thousand tons.
