The reduction in gas imports from the European states by the Ukraine is connected with gas injection to own storages by Hungary, the Chairman of Naftogaz Management Board A. Kobolev says in the end of July 2014. The company hopes that the fall in supplies is temporary, and it has happened due to prolongation of some state decisions in Hungary about gas volumes injected to the underground storages. In his opinion, now it is not critical for the Ukraine because it’s going to get most of European gas supplies from September from Slovakia. Gas supplies from Poland to the Ukraine remain at the maximum possible level of 4 million cubic m a day.
