Russia:The government recommends reduction of gasoline export

Last week the meeting of the commitee for the monitoring of production and consumption of oil products in Russia was conducted in the office of the Ministry of Energy with the participation of representatives of large oil companies, officials of the Ministries in charge of the Fuel and Energy Sector, including the Ministry of Energy and FAS, as well as gasoline traders and fuel market experts. The officials promised to enhance the monitoring of the situation at gasoline market and asked oil companies to reduce their exports.

The meeting was devoted to the analysis of the reasons for the fast growth of wholesale prices of gasoline within the last month. The meeting was conducted by deputy Minister of Energy, Kirill Molodtsov and deputy Head of the RF FAS, Anatoly Golomolzin.
