Rosneft is eager to get entrance to the Caspian shelf via Azerbaijan

On the threshold of the visit of the Russian President Putin to Azerbaijan, ‘Vestnik Kavkaza’ newspaper reported the press-release of Rosneft. It officially confirms that Rosneft is interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan, and analyzes now different projects in the state but no concrete agreements have been achieved as yet.

The chief of the Baku Center for Oil Research, I. Shaban and the chief research associate of the international institution under the Moscow State University of Foreign Affairs L. Gusev says that Azeri projects in particular can be interesting for Rosneft.
