Kazakhstan has ratified the amendments to the agreement on the pipeline with China

The President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev has signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan ‘About the ratification of the introduction of the amendments and additions to the agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and of China for cooperation in the construction and operation of the pipeline Kazakhstan – China signed on August 18 2007’. It create the opportunity to annually transport 25 billion cubic m of gas, including 20 billion cubic m of transit of Turkmen and Uzbek gas to China and 5 billion cubic m from the Kazakh side.
