Gazprom’s head, A. Miller, met with the first deputy Prime Minister of China, Ch. Gaoli, and chairman of the Board of CNPC, V. Ilin.
On May 8th the parties agreed on the main conditions of supply and on the western route at the volume of 30 bln cubic m of gas a year.
If the construction of the gas pipeline ends in time and even earlier, gas supply will start immediately, and that will provide gas reserves to China which will be enough to cover the needs of enterprises and the country in total.
In late May 2014 Gazprom and CNPC signed a purchase- and-sale contract for gas sale by the eastern route for 30 years.
