A giant new petrochemical complex (OGPC) will be built in Azerbaijan; its launch is scheduled for 2021. To speed up the process the Azerbaijani side hopes to attract foreign investors, vice president of SOCAR Tofig Gahramanov said at a seminar held at the 22nd annual conference of Caspian Oil and Gas-2015 in Baku on Thursday.
On conditions of retention of the 51% share SOCAR can agree to create the joint venture OGPC with foreign companies, an anonymous source in the company reports.
