SOCAR and BP start to search for new oil fields in shallow water of the Caspian Sea

The state-owned oil company of Azerbaijan, SOCAR and BP have signed a contract on prospecting and exploration in shallow waters of the Caspian Sea, the first vice president of SOCAR, Khoshbakh Yusifzade reported.

He noted that the BP would start working in the near future, emphasized that mostly gas fields are concentrated in the deep water of the Caspian Sea.
