Chizhov: European Commission can’t freeze South Stream

The European Commission has neither grounds nor rights to stop the construction of the South Stream, the permanent representative of Russia in the EU, V. Chizov said.
“To have reasons one should prove the presence of violations”, he said.
“It is a very serious project”, he added.
