Rosneft has appealed for Itera’s purchase

Rosneft has appealed to the Federal Antimonopoly Service for purchase of Itera NGK. The application was received on May 31 2013. In the end of May, they reported Itera gas company, buying 49% shareholding of its founder I. Makarov. Transaction sum was valued by $3 billion.
Rosneft closed the transaction for purchase of 51% in Itera in August 2012. The rest belongs to the structures of Itera MGK of I. Makarov. They reported that Itera could act as the operator of Rosneft’s gas assets.
