Uzbekneftegaz is seeking investors for the project to expand the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex.

National Holding Company "Uzbekneftegaz" retains plans for project expansion of ethylene production and subsequent release of the polyethylene at the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex, Sputnik reports, citing a source in the company.

The total project cost is estimated at 478 million US dollars. The company is now exploring the possibilities of financing from its own funds and the possible attraction of credit resources from the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan, as well as international investors.
