RN-Tuapse refinery starts construction of nitrogen plant

Rosneft’s subsidiary Tuapse refinery has started construction of a nitrogen plant, designed to produce nitrogen gas with 99.99% purity. This was reported by the Rosneft’s press centre on May 5, 2016.
According to the company, the plant’s products are intended for the constructed units for production of hydrogen, diesel hydrotreating, hydrocracking vacuum gas oil, as well as the existing facilities of the plant. Nitrogen is essential to ensure the cooling systems of new complexes.
