NCOC plans to produce up o 450 thousand barrels of oil per day at Kashagan

NCOC, which carries out oil operations at the offshore field Kashagan in the Atyrau region, plans to eventually produce up to 450 thousand barrels of oil per day at Kashagan, the Kazinform transmits.

"Currently, the operator studies and analyzes opportunities to realize such projects as the center of compression that will allow it to increase the oil production from 370 thousand barrels to 450 thousand barrels per day. Also, it is the second phase of the Kashagan field development and the development of the Kalamkas-sea, Aktoty and Kayran fields,"- deputy managing director of NCOC Zhakyp Marabayev reported during the conference “Oil and gas construction and engineering" in Atyrau.
