Within the coming years, the technologies for oil production from hardly permeable layers can be actively developed, the expert of the Russian energy market T. Gustafson thinks at the annual international energy conference CERAWeek. These measures can stabilize the speed of oil production in Western Siberia. Concerning launch of new deposits and oil production from hardly permeable layers, Russia can further enlarge liquid hydrocarbons production. These technologies can be used even at mature Russian deposits, as they have the necessary infrastructure.
