VCNG to re-elect the Board of Directors on May 20

OJSC “Verchnechonskneftegas” (VCNG) is about to re-elect the Board of Directors at a special shareholders meeting on May 20, it was reported in a statement of the company.

The shareholder register, which has a right to participate at the meeting, is closed as of February 27, 2013. Information about the candidates is not disclosed. The current Board of Directors was confirmed at a special meeting on January 15, 2013. RIA “Novosti” reports.

The current Board of Directors comprises Inna Agafonova, director of Mergers & Acquisition, Support Department, CJSC Group of Companies RENOVA;

Victor Blagoveshensky, vice-president, Yamal-Gas division OJSC “TNK-BP Management”;

Peak John Laurence, technical director, Branch of Limited Liability Company BP Exploration Operating Company Limited;

Dmitry Zapolskiy, chief financial controller, OJSC Alfa-Bank;

Nikolai Ivanov, senior vice-president for commerce in Upstream, JSC TNK-BP Management;

Lorna Tarin Malcolm, manager, branch “BP Exploration Operating Company Ltd”;

Milenski, Emerson Joseph,vice president for Major and Capital Projects, JSC TNK-BP Management;

Runye Zelko, vice-president, OJSC “Oil Company “Rosneft”;

Gennady Sarychev, deputy director, Drilling, Boring Technology and Supervising Department, OJSC “Oil Company “Rosneft”.

 The chairman of the Board of Directors is N.Ivanov.

OJSC “Verchnechonskneftegas” was created in 2002. Principal shareholders are OJSC “TNK-BP Holding” – 74%, OJSC “Oil Company “Rosneft” – 25.94%. VCNG is focused on a development of the Verchnechonsk oil-and-gas deposit.
