Ukrainian Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry to settle with Medvedchuk’s coal

The Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of the Ukraine Vladimir Demchishin has ordered to hold an unscheduled internal audits at companies Centrenergo and Ukrinterenergo because of the scandal over contracts for the import of coal. It is reported by the press centre of the Ministry of Energy.

The purpose of the inspections is finding the legality of the contracts for coal imports, matching of declared volumes to actually delivered ones, the presence of coal quality and origin certificates and definition of quality indicators of coal that is physically located in warehousse, as well as the clarification of the price of the supplies.
