Reuters: Government discusses the sale of 11-18% of Alrosa

The Government might sell 11-18% of Alrosa in the framework of privatization. The funds from the sale are included in the buget-2016. So the sale might take place in 2016. The shareholders are to decide if to sell the stake to foreign or domestic investors.
Previously Forbes reported that the privatization of packages of shares of Rosneft, Bashneft, Sovkomflot, Alrosa, RZD, Aeroflot and VTB is interesting for Russian billionaires. One of the possible beneficiaries of a new stage of sale is called the senator from Dagestan, the major shareholder of Nafta Moscow, S. Kerimov. He studies the purchase of packages of Alrosa, Sovkomflot and Transneft.
