Russian Ministry of Finance: Reduction of average oil price to $50 per barrel in 2015 to lead to loss in budget in the amount of 2.1 trillion rubles

With a decrease of the average oil price from $100 to $50 per barrel in 2015, the lost budget revenues only from oil taxes could reach, according to the Finance Ministry, about 2.1 trillion rubles or 14% of the planned revenues of the federal budget. These data was reported by director of the Department of Tax and Customs Tariff Policy of the Russian Ministry of Finance Ilya Trunin.

"In case of more serious fall in the price, to $40 per year on the average, the budget revenues may decline by 3.1 trillion rubles, which is 21% of the planned revenues of the federal budget," - he added.
