“Gazpromneft-Aero” increases an annual retail sale of aviation fuel by 16%

“Gazpromneft-Aero” got a 23% share of the retail market in 2013 and it is still the largest provider of services for refueling at the aerodromes of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The company-operator of the aviation fuel business filled 2.2 million tons of fuel in 2013 (+16% against 2012). The total volume of aviation fuel sale reached 3.4 million tons in 2013 (+16%).

To date, the company has the largest sales network on the Russian market, which comprises 37 fuelling complexes. The company operates at 44 Russian and 125 foreign airports. The number of partners of “Gazpromneft-Aero” has increased from 20 to 26 since 2012.

The company realized 220 thousand tons of aviation fuel abroad last year (appr. 10% of the total volume) and expanded its footprint from 88 to 125 airports. The strategy of Gazpromneft-Aero considers the further expansion of its international network of airports.
