The South Stream is one less problem for the investors in Gazprom.

Gazprom stopped the South Stream project. Instead of this pipeline a natural gas pipeline that will link Russia and Turkey and will run through its territory to the border with Greece will be created. The capacity of the new pipe will be the same as that of the South Stream - that is 63 billion cubic meters per year. Of this amount 14 billion cubic meters are intended for domestic consumption in Turkey and 50 billion cubic meters will be sent to the border with Greece, where the point of gas delivery will be organized.
