Lukoil completes the first stage of construction of Filanovsky deposit in the Caspian Sea

Lukoil completed installation of the substructures for the ice-class stationary platform, the central technological platform, the living quarter platform and the riser block platform at Filanovsky deposit in the Caspian Sea, the company’s press service reported.

The substructures were installed and fixed at the bottom of the sea with help of the transport and mounting barge equipped with the crane with the capacity of 400 tons. The substructures were mounted with the rammed-soil piles up to 60 metres deep. The piles are more than 2 metres in diameter and their wall thickness reaches 80 mm. As the piles are that large, the platforms are reliably mounted with regard to possible impact of ice and waves.
