Lvov regional council has admitted the project of PSA with Chevron on shale gas production

The Lvov regional council has agreed the project of a PSA with Chevron on shale gas production at the Olesko site in Western Ukraine. The contract is closed between the state, Chevron and Nadra Olesko LLC.
In May 2012, Chevron won in the tender for hydrocarbons production at the Olesko site. After that, the company appealed to the Ukrainian Government with the project of the contract that should have been agreed before the signing by the Lvov and Ivanovo-Frankovsk regional councils where the deposit is located. In September, the deputies of the Ivanovo-Frankovsk regional council admitted the PSA project.
