Polish sector of Yamal-Europe gas line can operate in reverse mode from 2014

By 2015 Polish sector of Yamal-Europe gas line will be able to work in reverse mode to provide for gas deliveries to Poland if the flow from the East interrupts, the Head of GAZ-SYSTEM (the operator of the pipeline) said.
“The reverse is the alternative in case the deliveries from the East to the West stop. This is the demand of Security of Supply (SoS) to EC and this can help Poland transport gas from the West”, he specified.
