Coal production decreases in the Ukraine as compared with 2012

In the first eight months of 2013, the coal enterprises of the Ukraine decreased coal production almost by 6% as compared with the same period of 2012, the press centre of the Trade Union of Coal Industry workers of the Ukraine reported to the IA REGNUM.

Thus, in the reporting period of 2013, state mines produced 15 481.9 thousand tons of coal (the plan was 101.2% fulfilled). The excess of the planned rate of the coal production made up 183 thousand tons. At the same time, the coal mining decreased by 852.8 thousand tons as compared with the production level in January-August of 2012.
