Lloyds Bank withdraws from deal on the granting of a loan to BP for the purchase of oil and oil products from Rosneft

“Lloyds’ decision to leave the deal was made not to confuse the Government, taking into account the current situation in relation to Russia. I think, the bank didn’t want to “go up” to ask permission,” – one of the agency’s sources said. He also added that substitution for Lloyds hasn’t been determined as yet.
“The withdrawal of Lloyds changes nothing,” – another source said. He specified that the bank took part in the transaction only due to its relationship with BP.
