Bulgaria calls not to politicize South Stream

The Government of Bulgaria has made a call not to make the the South Stream gas pipeline’s future dependent on the relationship between Russia and the Ukraine.

According to the Minister of Economy and Energy of Bulgaria, D. Stoinev, the realization of this multinational project and the EU countries should not become the victims of the conflict between Moscow and Kiev.

Mr. Stoinev also said that on June 13th the European Commission representatives are invited to Sofia where some dispute has arisen regarding the sea part of the gas pipeline will be discussed.
