Azerbaijan to become a major gas supplier to Europe.

Washington is ready to assist Azerbaijan in implementing the Southern Corridor energy project so that the republic becomes a major supplier of gas to Europe, Richard Morningstar, the U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan, stated.
"Azerbaijan has achieved more progress since the period of the "Contract of the Century" signing. There is the ongoing project of the Southern Gas Corridor , and the U.S. is ready to assist Azerbaijan in this project", - the ambassador stated, speaking on the reception, organized by the embassies of the U.S. and UK, on Tuesday in Baku opening the 21st annual energy conference and exhibition Caspian Oil & Gas in 2014 .
