SOCAR Turkey to build an oil refinery on the coast of the Aegean Sea

The Turkish subsidiary of SOCAR will build a new oil processing plant in Turkey. As “Vestnik Kavkaza” reports, it will be located at the port Aliaga on the coast of the Aegean Sea and be named Star. The project is valued at $5.1 billion. It will be financed by the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
