Royal Bank of Canada reduces its share in Lukoil to 5.33%

Royal Bank of Canada has reduced number of Lukoil’s shares, with which it can deal, from 10.714% to 5.33% or to 45.352 million shares from 91.131 million shares of the largest Russian private oil company, the company reports.

In 2010, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), acting through its subsidiary RBC Finance BV that is 100% owner of RBC Holdings (Channel Islands) Limited, which owns RBC Trust Company (International) Limited and RBC cees Limited, received the right to dispose of voting right of 91.131 million of Lukoil’s ADR, which made up 10.714% of the total quantity of the shares.
