An agreement on the contract for new drilling rigs for Azerbaijan signed

The Azerbaijani-American company Caspian Drilling Company Ltd and the Singaporean company Keppel have signed an agreement on the construction of semisubmersible drilling rigs of the 6th generation.
As 1news.as reported this was announced by the SOCAR’s President Rovnag Abdullaev.
According to him, the construction of the first drilling rig will be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2016 and it will be used at the fields Umid and Babek.
