SUMZ re-equips copper-smelting production

They will start an implementation of the project on the installation of a new exhaust heat boiler behind the smelting aggregate - Vanukov furnace No2 at the copper-smelting workshop of Sredneuralsky Copper plant (SUMZ, an enterprise of UGMK). This scale technical reequipment programme is included into the programme of prospective development of SUMZ until 2018.
The purpose of the recovery boiler is cooling and reduction of the physical volume of process gases meant for electrostatic precipitators, with simultaneous generation of heat in the form of steam, as well as capturing and organizing dust collection to return it to the technology cycle of the workshop.
