Rosneft has become the only seller at the gas trading in Russia in 2015

​Rosneft has become the only seller at the commodity exchange trades in 2015, is said in monthly data of the Saint-Petersburg International Commodity Exchange concerning the volumes of gas trades.

In Jan 2015 Rosneft sold 134.6 mln cubic m of gas, in February – 152 mln cubic m. The President of the Commodity Exchange, A. Rybnikov, emphasized the importance of participation of all the main gas producers of Russia in the commodity exchange trades. “I am sure that gas trade is able to become an effective tool of improvement of the system of gas supply of Russia”, he said.

This week the President of Russia, V. Putin, at the meeting with the Minister of Energy, A. Novak, called to increase the number of independent gas producers at the gas trades on the commodity exchange and provide the meeting of the rules of the commodity exchange trades.
