The West unable to reject Russian oil

Morgan Stanley investment bank has published their research claiming that it’s impossible to introduce an embargo for Russian oil. Russia exports 2.7 million barrels of oil every day to the West, and the global market has nothing to substitute it.

The research tells that even if the USA and the EU reject Russian oil, the state will just redirect the extracted volumes to China and other Asian states. The Admission of the resolution of the UNO Safety Council about prohibition of oil purchase in Russia isn’t either possible because Russia has the right of veto.
