Russia. Oil and gas production upward trend may change in 2014

The current oil and gas production growth trend may change. Analysts, commenting on the preliminary data of the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy sector over the first 2 months of 2014.

According to the data in mass media, oil production in the Russian Federation increased by 1.5% to 85.4 million tons in January-February 2014, gas production went up by 0.6% to 123.65 billion cubic meters. Oil export went down by 4.3% to 36.3 million tons, gas exports are up by 6.5% to 39.2 billion cubic meters.
