Resumption of production at the Kashagan field is possible in the second half of 2014

The Chairman of KazMunaiGas’s management, Sauat Mynbaev thinks its possible that there will be a resumption of oil production at the Kashagan field in the second half of this year.
“A resumption of the production in the second half of the year is very possible, but we should talk about it only as about possible thing, that’s why I will refrain from comments, especially on volumes of the production. After March conclusion and making of investment decision (on the replacmente of a gas pipeline), as volumes of the production, as costs will be clear,” – Mynbaev said at the briefing in the Service of central communication lines on Tuesday.
