The exports of "Gazprom"’s natural gas jumps for no apparent reason.

According to Central Control Administration of the Fuel and Energy Sector, since March 1st the level of Russian gas exports to European Union countries has increased. At the beginning of March, this figure is already 476.5 million cubic meters. This volume of supplied gas close to that of last year, when a sufficiently high level of supply was due to the cold weather. Now, throughout most of Europe warm weather was established. Many experts connect the cause of the gas exports growth with Ukrainian crisis.

On February 28th, "Naftogaz Ukrainy" increased the selection of imported gas to 60 million cubic meters, and on March 1 - to 44.5 million, Interfax reports. The agency also recalled that in the last week of February, the average figure was 20 million cubic meters. According to the information provided by the Ukrainian Minister of Energy, in February 2014 the country consumed gas worth $400 million
