Azeri oil pumping by BTC fell by 7% in January

The volume of Azeri oil pumping by BTC in Jan 2016 made up 2 mln 288.59 thousand tons, by 7.4% less than in Jan 2015, SOCAR reports.
From the launch of BTC (June 2006) until Feb 1st 2016, the volume of pumping made up 294 mln 963.979 thousand tons of oil.
Besides this, 358.533 thousand tons of Turkmen and Kazakh oil were pumped by BTC in January.
In Jan 2016, 2 mln 848.091 thousand tons of Azeri were shipped from the Ceyhan oil terminal, from the moment of launching BTC – 294 mln 41.863 thousand tons of Azeri oil.
In 2015, 28 mln 835.543 thousand tons of Azeri oil were pumped by BTC.
