Polyus Gold sums up results of the year

In 2014, Polyus Gold produced 52.75 tons of the precious metal. More than 72% of it was mined from deposits of the Krasnoyarsk region - Olimpiadinskoye, Blagodatnoye and Titimukhta. The region retains the perennial leadership among Russian regions in terms of the gold production.
 

Champions of the mining

Let’s recall that Polyus Gold is the largest Russian gold producer. The company insludes a number of gold deposits in the Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk and Magadan regions, in Yakutia. Last year, their total production amounted to almost 52.8 tons of gold, which is by 3% more than in 2013.

The Krasnoyarsk division of Polyus Gold consists of three deposits - Olimpiadinskoye, Blagodatnoye and Titimukhta. Their total production exceeded 38 tons of gold in 2014. Thus, last year, the share of the Krasnoyarsk division in the total production of Polyus Gold was over 72%.
