MMK to increase shipment of rolled steel to foreign car concerns

MMK increases the supply of rolled metal to foreign automobile concerns, localizing their facilities in Russia. In 2015, its share in total shipments of MMK’s automotive sheet grew four times in comparison with 2014.
Serial deliveries of galvanized and cold-rolled steel of MMK to all car manufacturers, operating in Russia, amounted to 405 thousand tons in 2014 and 278 thousand tons in the first eight months of 2015. The automotive market is one of the most promising and attractive for the plant, which seeks to strengthen its position on it and to become a leading supplier of steel products to the industry.
