Statoil is about to compete with Gazprom on the German market

The Norwegian oil-and-gas company Statoil is about to expand its gas supply to Germany, the vice-president of the company Rune Bjørnson asserted in an interview to Handelsblatt.

According to him, the company can supply extra 20 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Germany as an addition to the long-term liabilities,” Deutsche Welle reports.
