NTMP forecasts further reduction of crude oil transshipment and growth of oil products transshipment

The Novorossiysk Sea Trade Port Group (NTMP) forecasts a further reduction of crude oil transshipment in 2015 and growth of oil products transshipment as well as other cargo, CEO of the port, S. Batov, said.

“Next year the volumes of oil transshipment will fall and be replaced by the rise of oil products transshipment, in particular, other cargoes – bulk, powdered and general cargo”, he said.

Mr. Batov connects the fall of the oil transshipment volumes also with the supply of a part of cargo to the domestic market for processing “but simultaneously the segment of oil products rises, in particular, transshipment of diesel fuel”, he added.
