Lukoil indents to join Bashneft in purchase of filling stations in the Samara region

Yesterday, the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service has approved the Lukoil-Uralnefteproduct’s petition about getting 11 filling stations of Samara retailer AZS Aktan into the ownership. A month ago, FAS approved the request for the purchase of 100% of the AZS Aktan’s share capital, filled by Bashneft. Bashneft made it clear that it didn’t refuse its plans and was going to close the deal. Lukoil doesn’t comment on the plans. Experts believe that we can talk about the Samara network’s business division between two players.
