Gazprom and CNPC intends to develop cooperation in the field of underground gas storage facilities in China to ensure a reliable supply of natural gas from Russia to China, the Russian company reported after the meeting of the Joint Coordinating Committee of the two companies.

The sides discussed a wide range of topical issues of cooperation in the gas sector, in particular - progress of the project of natural gas supplies from Russia to China via the “Eastern” route.
