Suppliers need reserve stocks to be able to sell gas from Jan 1st 2016

From Jan 1st 2016 the applications for gas pumping will be satisfied only in case the suppliers have reserve stocks of gas at the underground gas storage facilities, Ukrtransgas reports.

The respective norm is stated in the Government regulation “On the order of foundation of reserve stock of gas” as of September 30th 2015 #795 with the changes approved by the regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers as of October 13th 2015 #836.

The supplier is planned to form the reserve stock at the volume of 100% of the planned monthly supply rates for the next month on their own account or attracted funds.

In case the gas pumping volumes don’t meet the volume of the existing reserve stock, the applications from the supplier will be accepted for the existing reserve stock volume only.
