Mutual settlement with Naftogaz to be allowed Gazprom

The Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economic Development, Federal Service for Fiscal and Budgetary Supervision and the Central Bank worked out the Gazprom’s letter and recognized expedient to amend the law on currency regulation and currency control.

It is assumed that the Article 19 of the "Repatriation of residents of foreign currency and the currency of the Russian Federation" will be added by item that extends the list of cases when residents have the right not to credit foreign currency or rubles on their bank accounts in authorized banks. Thy won’t have to do it during offsetting commitment claims of non-residents to pay for the supply of natural gas and on commitments of gas exporters to pay for services of gas transit through the territory of foreign states.
