Naftogas to plan to increase gas purchases in Europe by 1 billion cubic meters

Naftogas Ukrainy plans to increase its purchase of gas from German RWE Supply & Trading by at least 1 billion cubic meters to 6 billion, the Ministry of Energy and the Coal Industry answered for the Ukrinform’s information enquiry.
“Naftogas Ukrainy takes measures on the organization of natural gas supplies from Europe to the Ukraine in order for the diversification of the natural gas imports. In May of 2012, Naftogas and RWE Supply & Trading GmbH (Germany) concluded a natural gas buy and sale contract. It is planned to conclude additional agreements to this contract on the supply of natural gas in the amount of at least 1 billion cubic meters in 2014,” – the report says.
