Varieganneft introduces technology of discrete gas lift at fields of the Variegan oil block

Varioganneft introduces the technology of discrete gas lift at deposits of the Variegan oil block. The first well with the use of this technology is already passing pilot tests at the Tagrinskoye oilfield.
The expected increase in the average daily production rate for the well № 30076 of the well pad №  6 is 3 tons per day.

Varieganneft uses the discrete gas lift technology at the field with a high gas factor. The discrete gas lift method is based on the use of energy associated gas of the oil well. The rise of liquid to the surface is carried out by creating a pressure differential between the lower and upper control valves. This happens with gradual accumulation of fluid in lifting pipe. With the appearance of differential pressure liquid column rises to the surface by the energy of expansion of gas, entering in the lifting pipe in the final stage of the regulator operation.
