Sibur starts construction works on extension of Vyngapurovsky gas-processing plant

The ceremonial driving of the first pile of the construction of a new stage at the Vyngapurovsky gas-processing plant has taken place. The managers of SIBUR and contractors took part in the event.

The specialists of the project team together with representatives of the Vyngapurovsky gas-processing plant held an excursion around the construction site for the participants of the ceremony. After the ceremony, managers signed their names on the foundation.

The project implementation will allow the plant to increase its capacities on the receiving of associated petroleum gas from 2.8 to 4.2 billion cubic meters. It’s planned to build a gas pipeline with length of over 100 km from the Varyeganskaya compressor station to the plant for APG transportation; the Varyeganskaya compressor station will be also reconstructed.
