LNG plant to be constructed in Tomsk region

A natural gas liquefaction plant will be constructed in the Tomsk region. The plant is planned to be located near the “Kargala” gas distribution station in the Shegar district. The system of acceptance, storage and regasification will be located near the regional centers Bakchar, Podgornoe and the village Voronovka.

The acceptance of offers for the development of the project documentation has been announced: the contractor needs to agree the technology of LNG production, make a general plan of the objects, hold engineering research works and assess the construction cost.

The start-up price of the contract is more than 196 mln roubles, the applications are accepted until July 17th. The bodies of the local Government have already reserved and made a cadastral registration of the sites for the construction and have worked out the issues of the electric and water supply as well as development of roads. All the works are to be executed within half a year from the moment of signing the contract.
