State Duma supports a draft law on establishing gas MET calculation formula from 2014

Today, the State Duma passed in the first reading a draft law on the establishing of the natural gas MET calculation formula. The basic rate of MET on gas and gas condensate production is proposed to be establish, taking into account their calorific value at the level of 35 rubles per one thousand cubic meters of gas and 42 rubles per ton of gas condensate.
In this case, the basic rate of MET on gas and gas condensate will be used with the account of the reference value of the oil equivalent, the coefficient that characterizes the degree of the complexity of the gas and gas condensate production, as well as the indicators of the costs of gas transportation..
